The Bahamas is famous for its great weather, with lots of clear sunny days
ideal for cruising on DolphinQuest and swimming with the dolphins.
You don't need to take a lot with you, just basic summer clothes plus a light raincoat for short rain showers. The summer in the Bahamas is hot and the water gets very warm. Out on the boat we can enjoy the sea breeze while cruising. Nights are also warm and the breeze coming from the ocean is very pleasant. Of course our rooms are equipped with air-conditioning.
Don't forget your sun-tan lotion with higher SPF. The reflection of the water makes the UV index even higher. For safety reasons we ask you not to bring any oil-based sun-tan lotions on the boat, as it gets very slippery.

Hurricane warning!
Hurricanes can happen any time from May to November in the Caribbean, but we always receive plenty of advance warning. This means that we have plenty of time to make the necessary decisions for our safety. We have had to postpone only five program weeks since 1995 due to an approaching hurricane possibly affecting us on the island.
The possibility of a hurricane happening during the period of your adventure is low, but it could happen. This is a wilderness experience. We are not in control, Mother Nature is!
