It’s Better On Bimini
The Bahamas is blessed with many clear sunny days; perfect for cruising on DolphinQuest and swimming with dolphins.
Summers are hot and the water gets very warm. The sea breeze cools us down on the boat and is very pleasant coming in from the ocean at night. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning to keep cool.
Bimini’s climate is sub-tropical, hot and humid (average daily relative humidity is around 70%), with 7-10 hours of sunshine per day.
There is only an average 8°C difference between the warmest and coolest months. During winter (November to January) the season is mostly dry with average daytime temperatures around 70°F, 30°C, and average monthly rainfall around 40mm. Year round, the temperature drops about 5°C after dark.
The Bahamas are blessed with around 310 days of sunshine each year or 3,000 hours of sunlight annually. Our wet season starts in mid to late May and runs through September or October. Rain usually happens in localized short showers, often in the late afternoon or evening, which pass quickly.

Hurricanes
Although hurricanes don’t often happen in the Bahamas, June through November marks the official Atlantic hurricane season.
It’s possible that a WildQuest program has to be cancelled due to conditions out of our control, such as weather or other adverse conditions. WildQuest will only cancel a program after a severe weather warning issued by the NOAA, (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) for our area, which means hurricane conditions are expected within 36 hours.
Since 1999 we’ve been running WildQuest, and we’ve cancelled only nine weeks due to wild weather.
